I have avoided watching ‘Two and a Half Men’ for a long time. My boyfriend finally convinced me to start watching it and I’m hooked! (Anyone notice a trend here with all my new favorite TV shows? Stuff I’ve avoided on purpose, but then when I finally give in I’m immediately obsessed? Haha.) The premise seems incredibly cliche in simple terms, but give it a chance. I’ve never really liked Charlie Sheen but he serves his purpose as the standard jerk player brother. The kid is who makes the show though; he was so great when he was young and had awesome comedic timing. It is always fun to watch talented young kids grow up and mature their acting skills right before your very eyes. Now that he is in his teenage years it is funny to see what story lines they can really have fun and run with now that he is older! 

I’ve been sick the past few days so my boyfriend and I recently started watching ‘30 Rock’ and I have to say I am completely hooked! I hate to admit I have been told by many people (whose opinions I value) to check this series out. It is such a great show and fun to watch more than once because so often there are little lines that you missed the first time around. I’m still watching the first season but I adore Tina Fey more than ever. Also, I now understand why it won so many Emmy’s this year! Tracy Morgan’s character, Tracy Jordan, is hilarious. I love the line “Live every week like it’s shark week!” But really, everyone is great on this show and the writing is so fresh and clever. Definitely check it out if you haven’t!

The Big Bang Theory is such a great show that doesn’t get enough recognition! While the premise sounds utterly cliche; two highly intelligent, socially awkward nerds move across the hall from a hot, educationally challenged girl who is a waitress at The Cheesecake Factory, the lines and writing are far beyond your every day sitcom. I’m really loving this show and feel like it just keeps getting better and better. The guest spots from Sara Gilbert as the character Leslie Winkle are great as well. It is nice that sometimes you actually do have to be as smart as the characters to get the jokes. If you have never seen it, you should check it out!
